Toyotomi Hideyoshi(reveised edition)

Toyotomi Hideyoshi was a subordinate of Oda Nobunaga.
He was a so-called upstart, he became a daimyou from a farmer.

He successfully brought about the unification of Japan in the Sengoku era.
He forbade other daimyou to have battles.(Sou-buji-rei).
Moreover, he confiscated the weapons such as swords from all farmers.(katana-gari)
In this way he became the actual Japanese king.

However, he was not able to fulfill his dream that his son would take over his position.
After Hideyoshi's death, Tokugawa Ieyasu attacked Toyotomi clan and took the rulership of Japan from them.
